From 22 to 24 April 2021, the Republican Industrial Fair of Inter-Industry Cooperation was held on the basis of the production association "Navoi Machine-Building Plant".

The fair was attended by representatives of about 60 leading industrial enterprises, as well as 600 private enterprises operating in various industrial sectors, with a presentation of more than 2000 item verities. On the basis of the outcomes of the 3 active days of inter-industry cooperation fair through the Electronic Cooperation Portal under the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan more than 1,336 contracts were signed for a total amount of 5 421 billion sums.

On the first day of the event, the participants got acquainted with the activities of large industrial enterprises of the Navoi region - "Navoiazot" OJSC, "Navoi CHP" OJSC, "Navoi" free economic zone, "Gidro stanko servis" LLC, as well as the tourism potential of the region. They also visited the Sarmishsay tourist base in the Navbahor region, ancient rock paintings and the Chashma temple in Nurata.

It was noted at the presentation that today the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine is a leader in the production of localized products and cooperation. In particular, in 2020, the company produced localized products for a total of 352.3 billion soums, which is confirmed by the fact that the plant purchased products from local producers for 3.5 trillion soums as part of inter-industry cooperation. In 2021, the plant will continue work on the production of localized products for 432.9 billion soums on 154 projects, including 71 new types of products for 82.0 billion soums, as well as within the framework of industrial cooperation, import-substituting products will be purchased for 3 , 8 trillion soums.

Experts of the Electronic Cooperation Portal under the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan provided practical assistance in the process of negotiations and agreements on cooperation in the form of B2B for the development of imported products by enterprises.

It should be noted that the sharp decline in global production due to the pandemic has led to economic stagnation in all countries. In these challenging times, the full support of local industries is an important factor in achieving economic stability. In this regard, the work carried out by the Center for the Electronic Cooperation Portal under the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan is of particular importance. As opposed to the other electronic trading platforms, the cooperation portal has a raw of unique offers, providing wide opportunities for local manufacturers and small businesses, greatly simplifying the purchase and sale processes and attracting reliable buyers for trading in the electronic area.

All these measures will certainly contribute to the development of cooperative relations between regions, enterprises and small businesses and will serve as a solid foundation for the future.

Today, the portal covers 72 413 enterprises, the number of trading products has reached 171 618 items. In 2020, more than 39 996 contracts were signed for a total amount of 5 375,7 billion sums.
