On November 15 this year, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Ilkhom Norkulov met with representatives of the Swiss delegation that visited Uzbekistan on a business mission on energy, production, logistics and infrastructure.

The meeting was attended by the Executive Director of the Swiss "Joint Chamber of Commerce JCC" Dr. Dorit Sallis, Head of Advisory and Client Relations of Swiss Export Risk Insurance SERV Carsten Boehler, Executive Director of Burckhardt Compression Marcel Pawlicek, Regional Managing Director for the Middle East and Central Asia of M&M Militzer & Münch International Holding AG Nikolaus Kohler, Executive Director of Moeckli Finance and Management Ltd Alfred Moeckli, Director of the Board of Herculis Partners SA Jean-Paul Periat, as well as, representatives of the responsible department of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on public-private partnership mechanisms, public-private partnership projects in the field of education, healthcare, ecology, agriculture, transport, irrigation and water management, the creation of renewable energy sources, green growth processes and the transition to a green economy, the ongoing work on sustainable, social and inclusive economic growth, the development of the private sector and privatization, the development of the business environment, the master plans for the socio-economic development of the regions, digital transformation and the development of industries.

At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
