Within the framework of the Uzbekistan Economic Forum 2022, a discussion “Gender equality, youth development, investment in the future” is being held, dedicated to human capital as one of the most important resources and one of the main problems of Uzbekistan, given the rapid population growth.

Currently, gender equality is one of the global problems in the world community, and in order to maximize the potential of the population, it is necessary to provide both men and women with significant roles in economic life. The main issue for young people is to obtain knowledge and tools that will help them prepare for future activities.

In this session, Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbaeva, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Program in Uzbekistan Matilda Dimovska, World Bank Regional Director for Central Asia Tatyana Proskuryakova, Program Director of the Oxford Initiative on Poverty and Human Development Corinne Mitchell, Director of CARE CSR LTD Malika Sharipova and others are being attended.

The participants of the session are discussing the country's priorities in the field of education and listen to the opinions of young people who are already using business opportunities and making the most of the economic reforms already underway, the achievements of women in Uzbekistan, will share their success stories, vision of the present and future.
