On August 11 this year, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan - Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kuchkarov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to Uzbekistan Daniel Rosenblum.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan Timur Ishmetov, First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Botir Zokhidov, Deputy Minister of Finance Odilbek Isakov, Director of the Department of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ashraf Khodjaev, as well as from the side of the guests a specialist in political and economic affairs of the US Embassy in Uzbekistan Daniel Hall.

During the meeting, issues of the economic policy implemented in our country in recent years, in particular, large-scale reforms, cooperation with international financial institutions, support for social protection, food security and macroeconomic stability, creation of new jobs, including cooperation in this sphere with financial institutions and leading countries of the world.

During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on economic growth, cooperation in this area, financial markets, sovereign bonds, cooperation in the field of budget assistance, market liberalization, and agricultural development.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation.
