On January 17 of this year, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kuchkarov on the effective organization of the activities of assistants to the khokim of the city of Tashkent.

The meeting was also attended by Chairman of the Central Bank Mamarizo Nurmuratov, Minister of Employment and Labor Relations Nozim Khusanov, Chairman of the State Tax Committee Sherzod Kutbiev and other responsible people.

 

At the beginning of the meeting, it was noted that during the video conference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, instructions were given and the main tasks were identified, in particular, it is necessary to pay attention to the differences between regions in the effective organization of the activities of assistants of khokim in the city of Tashkent.

 

During the meeting, the main tasks of the khokims' assistants were considered, such as studying the socio-economic situation in the mahalla, assistance in training young people and women in professions and entrepreneurship, assistance in obtaining loans under subsidy and family entrepreneurship programs, employment of the unemployed, especially young people and women, in the "Iron Notebook", "Women's Notebook" and "Youth Notebook", attracting the unemployed population to paid public works and organizing the effective use of household plots, as well as, the work carried out on the basis of these tasks was discussed.

 

At the meeting, it was noted that in the regions of cities, in particular in the city of Tashkent, based on the above tasks, a special approach is needed, attention must be paid to vocational training of the population, increasing its knowledge in the use of information technologies, and developing the service sector.

Also at the meeting, the proposals of the deputy khokims, assistants of the khokim and responsible representatives assigned to them on the above issues were studied, instructions were given on organizing effective activities in this direction and joint work.
