Research on "Mahallabay" in Bukа district - Agency for Development of Entrepreneurship

In pursuance of the instructions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, given during his visit to the Tashkent region on March 18-19, 2021 and at the extraordinary session of the regional Kengash of people's deputies, as well as the minutes of the expanded meeting dated March 27, 2021, No. 02-PA 1-5015, the Agency for Business Development attached to the Buka district of the Tashkent region carried out the following work.

16 employees of the Agency for Entrepreneurship Development and the Tashkent regional office have been attached to the district for the "Mahallabay" operating system.
There are 25.2 thousand houses, 28.3 thousand families and 127.5 thousand people in 42 mahallas in the district, of which 5619 are unemployed.

To date, 1,587 problems have been identified in 22,973 households surveyed in 42 mahallas, 85 of which have been resolved on the spot, 650 of which will be implemented on a program basis in 2021-2022, work is underway for 852 of them with cooperation of sector leaders, commercial banks, organizations and enterprises.
In particular, within the framework of family business programs, 715 people received loans worth 20.3 billion soums for self-employment, and 98 business entities were established.

In addition, the district plans to implement 53 investment projects (481.5 billion soums) in 2021-2022, the number of new jobs will be 1,293. To date, 262 of these projects have attracted 122.7 billion soums and created 412 new jobs.
Improving infrastructure and repairing social facilities
Work has also continued to improve the condition of infrastructure facilities and engineering and communication networks in the mahallas, as well as the development of infrastructure on the basis of public-private partnership.
In particular, to date 148.1 km (113.0 km of gravel and 35.1 km of asphalt) of streets were repaired. of which 9.9 km of internal roads have been asphalted, 2 km of sidewalks have been repaired and 50.2 km of roads were paved with gravel. In addition, 5 transformers, 700 electric poles were installed, 18.5 km of overhead lines were reconstructed and 49 transformer substations were repaired.

In particular, gravel was laid on Kok Terak Street (375 meters) in the Chavilsay mahalla of the district.
In the field of electricity supply, electricity (22 thousand) and gas (2.1 thousand) meters were delivered and installed in 23.5 thousand apartments. In addition, 21.3 km of overhead power lines were laid, 439 poles, 20 night lights and 4 transformers were installed within the Obod Qishloq program in Mirzabek and Parkent mahallas.
For example, 50 concrete poles were installed to improve electricity supply to the villages of Achamayli, Kirgovul Street of Urta-Tepa, Shodlik Street of Samarkand mahallas and 10 night lights have been installed on Achamayli Street of Achamayli Fayz Baraka mahalla. At the same time, work has begun on the installation of a high-voltage transformer on Asia Street to provide uninterrupted electricity to the population.
In addition, a total of 23.0 km of drinking water, electricity and gas networks need to be repaired.
It is planned to lay a 600-meter water pipe from the artesian well in the upper part of the mahalla to provide clean drinking water to the residents of Jashgalbayli mahalla, According to the project estimates, the funds required for the implementation of these measures amounted to 107.0 million soums (Purchase, excavation, installation, salary and other costs of 600 meters of water pipes). To date, 24.1 km of drinking water pipelines have been installed.
4.6 km of water pipes were laid to provide clean drinking water to the population of Cholabod and Boka mahallas, which provided more than 4,000 people with clean drinking water.
Of the social institutions, 5 schools worth 7.7 billion soums, 3 preschools 9.8 billion soums, 2 rural family clinics 1.8 billion soums, 2 mahalla buildings and 1 culture center for 2.5 billion soums were planned to be built and repaired. In addition, 4 schools, 2 preschools and 2 medical institutions in the region are undergoing major repairs.
At the expense of sponsorship of 350.0 million soums provided to the population, 10 citizens (22.0 million soums) received sewing machines and 10 citizens (4.0 million soums) mini-ovens, the roofs of two 96 apartment houses were repaired and 17 desks, 2 chairs, 20 computers were purchased for a total of 42 mahallas.
In particular, Doston Bakhtiyorov, a resident of Ulugbek Street, Dustlik mahalla, and Fakhriddin Ergashovich Umarov and Akimboy Zokirovich Risbekov, residents of Samarkand mahalla, were provided with three wheelchairs.
