On September 7, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kuchkarov met with head of the management consulting company “McKinsey&Company” in Kazakhstan Jochen Berbner.

        The meeting was also attended by representatives of “McKinsey&Company” Mikhail Kulikov, Alexander Kamensky, Alexander Kopitkin and First Deputy Minister of Finance Omonulla Nasriddinkhodjayev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Bobur Abdinazarov, as well as Deputy Minister of Energy Sherzod Khodjayev.

        During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the implementation of transformation projects of “the National Electric Networks” and “Uzbekhydroenergo”, the efficiency of projects, growth rates, the introduction of new technologies.

        The sides also exchanged views on the use of experience of other countries for the successful implementation of initiatives and projects, privatization processes, public-private partnership projects, as well as support for the reform of the fuel and energy complex of Uzbekistan.

        At the end of the meeting, the parties agreed to further strengthen cooperation on abovementioned issues and future plans.
