On January 25 this year, the chairman of the board of directors of "ACWA Power", Muhammad Abunayan, Saudi Arabia, and company representatives paid a courtesy visit to the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction.

During the meeting, the Saudi Arabian side expressed satisfaction with the development of relations with Uzbekistan, as well as interest in cooperation in the fields of medicine, agriculture, tourism, human capital development and a number of other areas.

The Uzbek side touched upon the changes in the country's economy caused by the pandemic, and expressed its opinion on the expected positive growth and prospects for a number of areas, including privatization, agriculture and fruit growing.

 

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue fruitful cooperation and expressed mutual gratitude.
