A regular meeting on planned measures to achieve the KPI indicators set for the "Doing Business" 2022 report

 On October 7 of this year, at a regular video conference with ministries and departments, the planned activities for 2021 were discussed to improve the position of the Republic of Uzbekistan and achieve the established key performance indicators (KPI) in the rating of the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation "Doing Business" according to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 6003 "On improving the position of the Republic of Uzbekistan in international ratings and indices, as well as the introduction of a new mechanism for systematic work with them in government agencies and organizations." The meeting was attended by 26 leaders and specialists of ministries and departments responsible for working with international ratings and indices.

During an online meeting, its participants were familiarized by the head of the Doing Business department and work with other international ratings with the values ​​of Doing Business indicators and their role in improving the image of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the international arena, the results achieved and measures aimed at solving existing problems.

 In particular, it was separately noted that ministries and departments are in full swing working on the draft Roadmap for 2021, the development of measures and mechanisms for its implementation, their implementation in the daily life of the population, including individuals and legal entities, as well as the important role in their promotion by the media. Thus, the presentation and implementation of measures aimed at improving the business environment and achieving KPIs in the Doing Business rating for each indicator was agreed by the responsible ministries and departments.

For information: the publication of the annual report "Doing Business 2021" by the World Bank scheduled for October this year has been temporarily postponed for an indefinite period.
