As part of the agreements reached to increase labor productivity and develop cooperation in the field of energy audit and energy saving between the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction and the Center for Energy Saving Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan, on January 20-21 this year, a delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the Director of the Center Marat Akhmerov visited Uzbekistan.

        In accordance with the program of the visit, meetings and acquaintance with the activities of a number of large industrial enterprises and institutions of the country were organized for the representatives of the delegation (Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, Tashkent City Water Supply State Unitary Enterprise, Institute of Energy Issues of the Academy of Sciences, Higher School Business and Entrepreneurship under the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction).

On January 21, a meeting was held with Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Bobur Abdinazarov. At the meeting, it was noted that in order to study the practice of mechanisms for increasing labor productivity, a delegation consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan and relevant institutions, from October 4 to October 11, 2021, was on a working trip to the Russian Federation, the city of Kazan, where studied the implemented mechanism of the “factory of processes” to increase labor productivity in industrial enterprises.

At the same time, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan made a proposal to implement pilot projects to increase the productivity of enterprises by introducing cost-effective production in equipment, instrumentation and machine-assembly shops of the Navoi Machine-Building Plant at the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine and the Central Mechanical Repair Plant at Almalyk mining and metallurgical plant.

In addition, an agreement was reached on cooperation in the training of managers and specialists of economic associations of the republic in the areas of "Lean production", "energy audit" and "energy saving", exchange of experience by creating a "factory of processes" on the basis of the Higher School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Ministry of Economic Development and poverty reduction.

In the field of energy audit, the Center for Energy Saving Technologies of the Republic of Tatarstan expressed interest in participating in the energy audit processes of enterprises of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which are scheduled to conduct 293 energy audits in 2021-2025, as well as in processes related to the development of energy saving programs, the introduction of an energy management system.

As a result of the meeting held at the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, a total of 5 documents on bilateral cooperation were signed between the "Center for Energy Saving Technologies" of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Higher School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, "Navoi Engineering Plant" at Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine, “Central Repair and Mechanical Plant” at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, the Institute of Energy Issues of the Academy of Sciences and the State Unitary Enterprise “Water Supply of the City of Tashkent”.

At the same time, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan expressed special gratitude to the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the organized visit and agreed to continue and expand cooperation between the two organizations.
