Pursuant to the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № PR-5094 “On the state program for creating new jobs and promoting employment of the population for 2021” dated April 28 of this year.

Comprehensive assistance to increase employment and incomes of the population, support for business entities that create new jobs, especially for young people and women, as well as those entering the labor market for the first time, have been identified as priorities.

In accordance with the trends in the labor market, in accordance with the state program for creating new jobs and promoting employment, 457.1 thousand permanent jobs are planned to be created in 2021.

The Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, the State Tax Committee, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the khokimiyats of the regions and the city of Tashkent have been appointed responsible for creating 121.0 thousand jobs through the development of small business and private entrepreneurship in the form of a legal entity.

In this direction, from January of this year to November, 147,847 new jobs were organized from the sides in the total number of 73,602 business entities.

When analyzing all jobs, the highest proportions were observed in the city of Tashkent (27.2 thousand), in the Kashkadarya region (18 thousand), in the Samarkand region (16.2 thousand), in the Tashkent region (13.9 thousand) and in the Andijan region (12.1 thousand).
