At the initiative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, an expert-level workshop was held via videoconference on 16 and 29 July of this year to discuss the implementation of the Roadmap for the preparation and implementation of Business Initiatives Week of the CIS member states, approved by the Order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated June 5, 2020 № 287.

During these activities, Representatives of ministries and departments presented a summary of the implementation of the Roadmap points planned for July in the relevant part.

Participants were also given an information on the Roadmap status of the forthcoming activities and on the measures taken to implement them in a timely and qualitative manner.

In view of the current pandemic situation , taking into account the change in the format of the planned events, as well the exchange of views, it was decided:

- to prepare the concept and programme of each activity, including scenarios for its implementation, specific speakers and moderators from the Uzbek side, as well as proposals for the provisional list and the expected number of foreign participants;

- to continue work on the quality of the informative and substantive part of the event.

- to develop draft of the investment, trade and economic documents paying particular attention to the possibility of their remote signature;

- to study this issue with further elaborationthe organization of an exhibition on the export potential of participating countries through the use of digital platforms;

- to pay special attention to the wide coverage of this event on the Internet.

As a result, it was decided to hold regular meetings on the subject.
