On November 24, Deputy Minister Bobur Abdinazarov met with a delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan Midhat Shagiakhmetov at the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction.

           The meeting was also attended by the Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Uzbekistan Aidar Akhtareev, Deputy Director of the NGO "Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan" Robert Galliulin, as well as responsible employees of the Ministry.

           The main topics for discussion were the current state and possible prospects for further cooperation. The guests were informed about the reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, including in the field of poverty reduction, labor productivity improvement, transformation of state-owned enterprises, issues of energy security of economic sectors and others.

           The issues of the activities of the Investment Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, in particular on the ongoing projects "Startup Diploma", 50 best innovative ideas, as well as the possibility of participation of representatives of Uzbekistan in these projects, were separately noted.

           Following the meeting, the parties agreed to work out issues on establishing cooperative ties between the State Unitary Enterprise "Tatarstan Center for Scientific and Technical Information" and the Center for Research of Industrial Labor Productivity Markets in Production, as well as the state budgetary institution "Center for Advanced Economic Research of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan" and the Higher School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Ministry.
