Today in the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship under the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan in cooperation with Handong Global University of South Korea held an international scientific and practical conference on the topic “Urgent issues of improving corporate governance in the conditions of Capital Market Development”.

           It was attended by representatives of the major international and local offices operating in our country, the leadership of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction and the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship professors and teachers, master's listeners, experts in the field and media representatives.

           The event was opened by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan Babur Abdinazarov, the director of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship . Thanking all the guests who visited the conference, they touched on the importance of developing the capital market and the large-scale work carried out in our country in this regard.

        The next word was given to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Kim Xi Sang. In turn, Mr. Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the invitation and gave a high assessment to the reforms carried out by the leadership of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the economy of the country and noted that diplomatic relations between the two countries are further strengthening.

           In the plenary session of the conference, Foreign and local speakers discussed "Development of the emerging capital market: challenges and opportunities", "Increasing the role of JSC annual reports on increasing transparency of the activities of issuers for the capital market", "Corporate governance for the Uzbek JC based on the principles of the organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)", "Corporate and environmental social, Topics such as "State support of venture business financing", "Evaluation of corporate governance in transition economy (on the example of Uzbekistan)", "Capital market as an indicator of corporate governance", "Energy sector of property of Korean state organizations", "Investment funds as a guarantee of investor confidence in the capital market", "Privatization and corporate growth", "Improving the attraction of investments to small business and private entrepreneurship".

At the end of the international scientific-practical conference, participants gained useful and up-to-date information and exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation in the field of scientific-practical and educational spheres.     

       At the same time, scientists, researchers and practitioners who carry out research work in this field are also widely involved in the conference and the scientific papers sent by them are published as a collection together with the materials of the conference.
