Meeting with representatives of South Korea's Ajou University

On June 9 of this year, at the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Deputy Minister Bobur Abdinazarov met with a delegation led by the President of the Ajou University of South Korea, Keechoo Choi.

For reference: Aju University is a private university and one of the leading engineering universities in South Korea. The strengths of the university's academic programs and research are the development of engineering, IT, BT (business technology), NT (natural sciences and technology), medicine, business and international studies. The University is known for its innovative international programs, including student and faculty exchange, International Summer School, Korean Language Program and active support for international students, and cooperates with more than 58 universities in 200 countries.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, the leadership of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship, the leadership, professors and teachers of the Ajou University of Korea, as well as the leadership of the Ajou University in Tashkent.

In the official part of the event, the parties signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of science between the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship and the Ajou University.

The main objectives of this memorandum of understanding are to strengthen cooperation, obtain a master's degree "double degree" in the field of information technology (MBA in information technology), the implementation of joint research projects and scientific conferences.

Such practical cooperation of the parties plays an important role in the implementation of innovative ideas and promising projects.
During the meeting, the parties informed about the ongoing reforms in their countries and discussed the prospects for further development of higher education. In particular, the sides exchanged views on ways to develop and expand bilateral cooperation. It was also emphasized that technological efficiency in the development of the higher education system is one of the key foundations of development.

In the second part of the event, the delegation visited the building of the Graduate School of Business and Entrepreneurship and got acquainted with the potential of the educational institution, the material and technical base, educational processes, conditions created for employees, teachers and students.
