On February 5 this year World Bank Group launched a website for the Business Enabling Environment* (BEE) project.

As announced earlier, starting from February 8 this year, the Preliminary concept of the World Bank BEE project, which is the successor to the international Doing Business study that assessed the ease of doing business in 190 countries, became available for public review.

The intended key data and report of the Business Enabling Environment project will be developed, tested and implemented with input from subject matter experts as well as potential users in government, the private sector and civil society.

The World Bank also invites respondents to provide feedback on a new approach to assessing the business and investment climate through external consultations, the deadline for submission of proposals is March 8 this year.
