Ongoing projects in the field of road transport infrastructure development

In pursuance of the state program approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 3, 2021 № PD-6155 "On the state program for the implementation of the action strategy for the five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021 in the "Year of Youth Support and public Health promotion“, a number of projects in the transport sector have been implemented. Including:

Within the framework of the II stage of the project ”Construction of a surface ring metro in Tashkent“ – on the 7.8 km section ”Kuylik – station № 12 ", construction works are underway. In particular, the following construction and installation works were carried out on the section from № 7 to № 12 (2nd stage) of the Kuylyuk Bazar station:
- Excavation: 188 out of 293 excavations have been completed.
- Preparation for concreting (15 cm ): completed 186 of 293.
- The concreting of the first floor reinforced concrete Foundation: completed 186 of 293.
- Concreting of the second floor of concrete foundations: completed 186 of 293.
- Concreting of the third floor of concrete foundations: completed 188 of 293.
- Support post: 188 out of 293 completed.
- Installation of reinforced concrete beams: completed 188 of 293.
- Reinforced concrete beams held 984 pieces of 1746.
A contract was signed with Patentes Talgo for the purchase of two high-speed passenger electric trains of the Talgo-250 model and 4 economy class cars, and on July 24 of this year, the first Talgo-250 electric train and four economy class cars were delivered to the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the contract. Road tests were carried out, and on the eve of the 30th anniversary of Independence, the electric train was put into operation.

The second Talgo-250 electric train was delivered to the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan on September 30 of this year.
JSC "Boshtransloyiha" on the project "Electrification of the railway station" Bukhara-Urgench-Khiva" has developed the technical and economical basis of the project (TEB) and received a positive conclusion from the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade.
"On the implementation of the project "Acquisition of ten metro trains for the elevated line of the Tashkent Metro" - was adopted in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated January 12, 2021 for № PR-4943.

As part of the project, a loan agreement was signed, and 5 subway rolling stock cars were delivered in August. Currently, road tests have been completed, metro trains are directed to the Chilanzar direction of the Tashkent metro.
On October 26, 2021, the remaining five four-car metro trains were delivered to Tashkent. Currently, road tests have been completed.
According to the project "Renewal of the locomotive fleet by purchasing locomotives", it is planned to purchase 30 electric locomotives, currently 17 electric locomotives have been delivered, 13 electric locomotives are planned to be delivered by the end of this year.
