According to decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PF-5106 of July 5, 2017 "On increasing the effectiveness of state policy on youth and supporting the activities of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan" and Resolution No. PK-3138 of July 18, 2017 "On measures to improve the activities of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan", a task to organize a council of leaders and develop a "Youth Program – 2021" was given in order to coordinate the activities of the primary organizations of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan in the lower systems of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On the occasion of the announcement of 2021 by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan as the Year of Supporting Youth and Strengthening the Health of the Population, on February 18, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction held a discussion with young people on the project "Youth Program" – 2021.

During the discussion, young officials of the Ministry exchanged views and expressed new views on the draft "Youth Program – 2021" based on their interests in youth policy measures.
