Everyone knows that in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan DP No. 29 dated December 3, 2021, assistant khakims began their activities on the development of entrepreneurship, employment and poverty reduction.

           The main activities of assistant khakims are: development of entrepreneurship, support for business projects and citizens' initiatives, employment, training for the unemployed, especially youth and women, entrepreneurship training, referral to training centers and assistance to graduates in securing employment.

           This year, at the initiative of the Director of the Agency for the Work of Mahallabay and Entrepreneurship Development Mirzokhid Ubaydullayev, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Agency and the School of Business and Entrepreneurship. The following objectives of this strategic partnership have been identified:

« The agency was integrated with higher education into the Online Mahalla platform, with the help of which assistant khakims identify vacancies and give advice on vocational or business training based on vacancies in the region;

« The agency will send youth and women, the unemployed, low-income families, people who returned from migration and entrepreneurs recommended by the khakim's assistants, as well as entrepreneurs in the total number of 40,000 people according to the developed programs to the curriculum sent to advanced training courses;

« People who enter the “Iron Book”, “Women's Book” and “Youth Book” are free for the public, and special short-term courses for entrepreneurs are paid on a contractual basis.

 

           In addition, one of the main goals of bilateral cooperation is to hold a seminar "Effective organization of assistant khakims: ways to develop entrepreneurship in mahallas, employment and poverty reduction" in cooperation with the Agency and the Higher School for Advanced Training of assistant khakims On April 19 this year, the first day of a three-day seminar was held - training of the first stage of training seminars by the Agency for the Work of Mahallabay and Entrepreneurship Development and the Higher School of Business and Entrepreneurship in the monocenter “Welcome to work” of the Tashkent region, Okkurgan district.

           Together with the Agency and the Higher School, a curriculum for a 27-hour advanced training seminar for khakim's assistants was developed and approved; more than 10 professor-teachers take part in the training seminar based on the program. In total, within the framework of the program, 9,335 assistant khakims in all regions will be trained in two stages.

               During this workshop assistant khakims will study the following curriculum developed by the School of Business and Entrepreneurship:

1. Legal framework for the development of entrepreneurship in mahallas, employment and poverty reduction;

2. Financial mechanisms for the development of entrepreneurship in mahallas;

3. Training in such modules as the socio-economic development of regions through the development of business and entrepreneurship.
