On February 16 this year, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Bobur Abdinazarov held an online meeting with the Vice President of KGHM Polska Miedz S.A. Pawel Gruza.

        The meeting was also attended by General Director of KGHM Polska Miedz SA Radoslav Pilyut, Executive Director of the company Petr Dura, Director of the Department for the Integrated Development of Basic Industries of the Ministry Temurmalik Kholikov, Director of the Department for the Development of International Cooperation and Protocol Service Shukhrat Matkarimov, as well as representatives of the AMMC and NMMC.

        During the meeting, the parties discussed the issues of establishing mutually beneficial relations between the company KGHM Polska Miedz SA and the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction, AMMK and NMMC on the development of the mining industry, the development of new deposits, the formation of their infrastructure, cooperation in research work, as well as on the use of underground technologies.

        During the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on the formation of specific areas of cooperation, the exchange of experience in the field of metallurgy, in particular, non-ferrous metals, the use of mining and water-saving equipment, as well as technologies for the preparation and enrichment of ores.

        As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on a visit of the delegation of the company KGHM Polska Miedz S.A to Uzbekistan.
