On January 14 of this year, at the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction a meeting was held between Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kuchkarov and the Chairman of the Board of Delphos International Bart Turtelboom.

For reference: Delphos International is a leading independent financial consulting company specializing in attracting long-term capital for projects in developing markets.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Finance Minister Odilbek Isakov and the Head of the Department of Development and Private Sector Analysis Saidjon Kodirov. 

The agenda of the meeting included issues on the development of public-private partnership mechanisms, human capital development, as well as privatization steps. 

At the beginning of the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the ongoing reforms in our country, and also discussed possible areas of cooperation.  

During the meeting, issues of developing not only human capital, but also PPP projects and infrastructure were discussed. In addition, Mr. Turtelbum emphasized that the reforms in Uzbekistan are moving forward quite progressively. He also shared his ideas and skills on the development of the "green" economy, noting that this area is important and interesting for their company.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and mutual support for the planned projects.
