The volume of agricultural, forestry and fisheries production in the republic in the 3rd quarter of 2021 amounted to 222.2 trillion soums, an increase of 104.2 percent compared to the corresponding period last year.

        In the production of agricultural products, the share of dehkan farms is 70.6 percent (an increase of 102 percent), farms - 26 percent (107.3 percent), organizations engaged in agricultural activities - 3.4 percent (126.4 percent).

At the same time, the share of crop production in the structure of gross agriculture was 49.6 percent, livestock-47.1 percent, hunting services, forestry and fisheries - 0.3 percent.

        During the reporting period, 7,804 thousand tons of vegetables (103.3% growth rate), 6,347 thousand tons of cereals (95.4%), 2,486 thousand tons of potatoes (102.2), 2,071 thousand tons of fruits (100.9), 1,437 thousand tons of melons (103.8) and 1,314 thousand tons of grapes (105.1) were grown from agricultural products. Also, 1,888 thousand tons of meat (103.0%), 8,129 thousand tons of milk (102.3%), 5,550 million eggs (102.2%) and 1,037 thousand karakul skins (103.3%) were produced from livestock products.

        In the volume of agricultural, forestry and fisheries production, the share of the Samarkand region is high, the share of which in the republican indicator is 12.7 percent, and the Andijan, Bukhara, Kashkadarya, Tashkent and Ferghana regions is 9.2-9.9 percent. In addition, Surkhandarya region (7.7%), Namangan region (7.3%), Khorezm region (6.5%), Jizzakh region (6.4%), Navoi region (4.9%), the Republic of Karakalpakstan (3.4%) and Syrdarya region (3.3%) have a smaller share compared to other regions.
