On May 10, at the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kuchkarov met with representatives of the French company “Rothschild & Cie”, headed by Ariel Malard de Rothschild, a member of the Board of Directors.

The meeting was also attended by the Minister of Finance Timur Ishmetov, the First Deputy Minister of Finance Omonullo Nasritdinkhodjaev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Bobur Abdinazarov, Deputy Minister of Finance Odilbek Isakov, Chairmen of the Board of JSC “Uzbekneftegaz” Mehriddin Abdullayev and JSC “Uztransgaz” Ulugbek Sayidov, along with the representatives of other organizations.

Following the negotiations, an agreement was signed between "Uzbekneftegaz" JSC and "Rothschild & Cie", stipulating the provision of financial consultancy services. Also, a memorandum of understanding was signed between "Rothschild & Cie" and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
