Meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction and the International Monetary Fund

On April 2 this year, a video conference was held between the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction and the International Monetary Fund.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kuchkarov, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Ilhom Norkulov, Chairman of the State Statistics Committee Bakhodir Begalov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Statistics Committee Dilshod Kholmurodov, as well as from the International Monetary Fund Head of the Statistics Mission - Adviser to the Statistics Department Artak Harutyunyan, head of mission Article-4 in Uzbekistan Ron Van Ruden and other experts.
The meeting was opened by Jamshid Kuchkarov and thanked the representatives of the International Monetary Fund for their collective support.
At the meeting, the results of the multi-range diagnostic mission on statistics were discussed. Based on the results of the Mission, a detailed report was prepared, in which representatives of the International Monetary Fund provided technical advice.

During the videoconference, Artak Harutyunyan announced the development of a "Roadmap" for a special standard for data dissemination, and also introduced the representatives of the public who contributed to this work. In this regard, Artak Harutyunyan noted that in recent years there has been growth in almost all areas mentioned in the mission.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to work together and thanked each other.
