On March 29, 2021, the Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction and the international rating agency Fitch Ratings held a video conference meeting.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Jamshid Kuchkarov, First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Ilhom Norkulov, Deputy Ministers of Finance Khaydarov Ahadbek and Odilbek Isakov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Bekhzod Khamrayev and representatives of the international rating agency Fitch Ratings, Eric Arispe and Eugene Chiam.

The meeting was held in the form of discussion, and the sides discussed issues of mutual interest.

During the meeting, Jamshid Kuchkarov focused on fiscal stimulation, privatization, agricultural reform, state enterprise reform and a number of other plans.

During the video conference, special attention was paid to the economic forecasts for this year and last year's statistics, as well as the ongoing reforms in the country.

Representatives of the international rating agency Fitch Ratings received full answers to their questions and at the end of the meeting the sides thanked each other for the ongoing cooperation.
